Job Description:
The Intake Counsellor is a key member of the YW Calgary team, responsible for providing intake assessments and clinical counselling services to women, children, youth, men, and families accessing our CPD program. This position requires strong assessment and treatment skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for clients.

Key Performance Indicators:
  • Number of intakes completed within designated timelines.
  • Client satisfaction ratings for counselling services.
  • Collaboration and communication with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for clients.

Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Counselling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Social Work or related field; Masters preferred.
- Registration with appropriate College or regulating body (recognized under the Health Professions Act).
- Two or more years of experience working with women, men, adolescents and/or children, and/or families impacted by family violence.
