Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personal care and support to our patients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, toileting, skincare, and light meal preparation.
  • Assess and respond to the changing needs of patients, communicating effectively with our care team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Perform delegated and assigned tasks under the supervision of a Home Support Supervisor.
  • Travel within assigned regions to provide care to patients in their homes or facilities.

Requirements

  • Valid Personal Support Worker Certificate from a recognized educational institution or equivalent.
  • Physical ability to meet the demands of the job, including standing, bending, walking, and lifting.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional personal care and customer service.
  • Valid Standard First Aid and Level C CPR certification.
  • Valid Vulnerable Sector Criminal Check.
  • Updated TB Test (within the past 12 months).
  • Proficient verbal and written English communication skills (additional language skills considered an asset).
