Duties and Responsibilities

As an Assistant Kitchen Manager, you'll be responsible for working alongside the Kitchen Manager to manage a kitchen that produces the highest standards in food quality, consistency, and efficiency. You'll develop your skills under the mentorship of the KM to effectively manage daily production goals, as well as food, waste, inventory, and labor cost controls.

Qualifications

We're looking for individuals who are:

  • Smart Serve certified
  • Experienced in kitchen management or supervisory roles in a comparable restaurant environment
  • Culinary Red Seal designation and Smart Serve Certification are strong assets
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written
  • Knowledgeable in the use of computers and learning new software
  • Previous experience with scheduling, inventory, product cost, and labor control is considered an asset
  • Passionate about living our values and promises
