We are seeking a skilled Pizza Maker to join our team at Perry's 2 For 1 Pizza & Pasta. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas and other menu items to meet the expectations of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, including pizzas, salads, and other menu items.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and ensure that all food is presented in a clean and appealing manner.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained, and take steps to prevent cross-contamination and foodborne illness.
- Team Leadership: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Cleanliness: Clean kitchen and work areas, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, flexibility, and organized.
