Salary

$25 per hour, paid weekly, with 4% vacation pay and opportunities for overtime.


Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, possess strong leadership qualities, and be able to work well under pressure.


  • Receive incoming shipments, verify their accuracy, and inspect for damages;
  • Report non-conformances as per quality guidelines;
  • Loading, unloading, and moving materials between two facilities using appropriate equipment;
  • Sorting, organizing, and storing materials in designated areas according to company standards;
  • Managing warehouse locations physically and in the ERP system;
  • Packing, labeling, and documenting materials for shipment;
  • Coordinating with shipping carriers and ensuring timely dispatch of outgoing shipments;
  • FOLLOWING all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment and reporting any safety hazards;
  • Ensuring compliance with company PPE policies (safety shoes, high-visibility vest);
  • Coordinating routine maintenance and inspections on material handling equipment;
  • Reporting any equipment malfunctions or needed repairs to the maintenance team;

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A valid Forklift License - Counterbalance;
  • Narrow Isle Reach is a strong asset;
  • Use of Pump Cart;
  • 3 years of previous warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment;
  • The ability to drive;
