Job Title: Superintendent 3

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to join our team at Jardeg-Construction. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the work of site staff, including laborers, carpenters, and other tradespeople.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Develop and implement project schedules, including timelines and milestones.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure quality of work and identify potential issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including estimating, procurement, and quality control.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role in the construction industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects from start to finish.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other construction documents.
