We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at Anet Fiber Tech Inc. as a key member of our finance department.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
- Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as maintain accurate records of employee benefits, including health care, dental, and vision care plans.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to management.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws, and identify and mitigate potential financial risks.
- Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as accounting or finance.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, organized, and reliable.
