Job Summary:

The Maintenance Mechanic (Millwright/Electrician) will be responsible for providing service to production, and all other functional areas at the manufacturing site. This position requires the individual to complete repair and maintenance of production related equipment and systems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine machinery and equipment malfunctions, diagnose root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Repair and maintain production equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Perform scheduled Preventative and Predictive maintenance services to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work logs and communication with supervisors and operators.

 

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education and valid Electrician ticket (309A or 442A) or Millwright ticket (433A) in good standing.
  • Experience working as part of an extended team within the Manufacturing sector.
  • Proven mechanical aptitude and ability to work with pneumatics/hydraulics and related control circuits.
  • Ability to work shift patterns 24/7, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Bonus qualifications: experience with basic PLC diagnostics and welding.
