Massage Therapist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our team at Performance Health.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality massage therapy services to clients, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans, and maintaining accurate records of treatments given.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer massage techniques through soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, joint pain and lower grade mobilizations
- Assess clients by conducting range of motion and muscle tests and propose treatment plans
- Explain procedures, risks and benefits to clients
- Maintain records of treatments given
- Massage and knead muscles and soft tissues of the body
- Suggest home care instructions and provide information about techniques
- Certification by a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Client focus and efficient interpersonal skills
- Values and ethics
- Experience as a Registered Massage Therapist
- Commission-based compensation
- Free parking available
- Permanent full-time position
- 35-40 hours per week
- English language of work
