About the Role

As a RH Interior Designer, you will play a crucial role in providing design services to our walk-in clientele within our RH Galleries. You will work collaboratively with Lead Designers and Gallery Leadership to create innovative and bespoke interior design solutions.



Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a Luxury Experience: Deliver exceptional design services to our clientele, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience.
  • Master the RH Design Ethos: Execute the RH Design philosophy for residential interior design, showcasing your expertise and creativity.
  • Design Expertise: Provide design guidance and execute small-scale design projects, leveraging your skills and knowledge to drive results.
  • Project Support: Collaborate with the Interior Design team on large-scale projects, ensuring timely and successful project delivery.
  • Design Presentations: Develop and present design concepts, space planning, and product selections in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Client Experience: Own the client experience from consultations to delivery, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Financial Goals: Contribute to achieving fiscal goals, driving business growth and success.
  • Brand Representation: Represent the RH lifestyle brand through professional communication, personal appearance, and exceptional customer service.
  • Industry Knowledge: Maintain a strong interest in the luxury and design industry, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Gallery Standards: Support the visual and quality standards within the Gallery, ensuring a cohesive and exceptional customer experience.


Requirements

  • Minimum + years of design experience in a design firm or high-end furniture and luxury retail environment.
  • Art, Architecture, or Interior Design degree or similar preferred.
  • Professional portfolio required.
  • Hands-on interior installation experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other related space planning/rendering programs preferred.
  • Strong artistic skills, including hand rendering and sketching capabilities preferred.
  • Strategic, highly organized, and results-oriented.
  • Commitment to Quality with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for building a thriving interior design business.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Mac Operating System, IOS devices, Microsoft Office, and Google Applications.


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and mobilize small to medium items up to lbs. while utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques.
  • Ability to maneuver effectively around the gallery floor, stock room, and office.
  • Position entails prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending, and climbing.
  • Licensed to drive preferred.
  • Ability to travel locally or out of state.
