We are seeking a reliable and caring Child Care Provider to join our team at Matthew Gustavson. As a Child Care Provider, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and supervision to children in a home-based setting.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will have experience in childcare, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. You will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment for children, planning activities, and providing meals and snacks.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality care and supervision to children in a home-based setting
- Plan and implement activities that promote children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
- Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment
- Communicate effectively with parents and other caregivers
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Assist with household chores and errands
- Provide emotional support and guidance to children
- Keep records of daily activities and health information
- Experience in childcare or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliability and punctuality
- Physical ability to lift and move children and equipment
The successful candidate will work in a home-based setting, with regular contact with parents and other caregivers. The work environment will be fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing high-quality care and supervision to children.
