About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer to join our team at SAP. As a key member of our analytics cloud security team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and compliance of our cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Cloud Architecture teams to ensure adherence to security, risk, and governance requirements
  • Analyze security test results and identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement effective security measures to protect infrastructure, applications, and data
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and compliance audits to ensure the security and integrity of our systems
  • Design and implement secure architectures and solutions to meet business needs
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies to ensure our solutions remain secure
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in security engineering or a related field
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
  • Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles
  • Understanding of databases, web application servers, and software security
  • Experience with IT security, including system and network security, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
