Social Worker II Professional

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Social Worker II to join our team at Northern Health Authority. This is an exciting opportunity for a registered Social Worker to highlight their knowledge, skills, and abilities in a dynamic environment.
About the Role:
This position involves providing comprehensive assessment, care planning, and treatment coordination for designated clients and their families. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other healthcare providers and the multidisciplinary team to provide direct psychosocial care, counseling, and group work, system navigation and advocacy, education, and linkage to relevant specialized complex care resources while facilitating client self-management.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing and developing social work services to maintain or improve the health and social well-being and functioning of those within Adult Rehabilitation & Recovery Services. Perform administrative duties as required.

Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from an accredited university and three years of recent related experience in a healthcare setting working with complex clients with concurrent disorders. Registration with the BC College of Social Workers is also mandatory. A current valid BC driver's license is required for travel between facilities.
