Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure adequate staffing levels
  • Hire and train new staff members or arrange for training
  • Authorize payments by cheque and maintain accurate financial records
  • Establish work schedules and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to achieve sales targets
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in retail or a related field
  • Equivalent experience may be considered
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced retail environment with a focus on excellent customer service and sales performance. The store is located in a busy shopping district with public transportation available.
