Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced Nursing Instructors to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to teach in a range of practice settings, including acute, community, and long-term care environments.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support student learning in classroom and clinical settings
- Provide ongoing feedback to students through written and verbal communication
- Foster relationships with practice partners and college colleagues
- Communicate with practice partners to ensure common understanding of learning outcomes
- Deliver face-to-face instruction and be available for student consultation
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Participate in instructional team meetings
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Learner-centered philosophy of teaching, learning, and evaluation
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills
- Three – five years of recent experience with simulation
- Commitment to delivering a dynamic, caring, and interactive curriculum
- Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field required
- Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives
- Previous teaching experience in a post-secondary setting an asset
Benefits:
- Competitive salary range: $2,709.12 - $4,341.23 bi-weekly (at 100% appointment)

Other Information:
Candidates must be able to demonstrate compliance with PHO orders regarding COVID-19 vaccine requirements. These positions are short-term, part-time with a range of 68-87% FTE commencing August 1, 2024, and ending July 31, 2025.
