Job Description

Mogno Carpenter is seeking a skilled Senior Construction Craftsman to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the building process from start to finish, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.



Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate work on construction sites, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for each project, taking into account factors such as labor costs, material prices, and weather conditions.
  • Prepare detailed estimates of labor and material costs, including breakdowns of estimated costs and timelines.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements, ensuring that all construction plans are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Create and maintain detailed records of construction progress, including timelines, budgets, and quality control measures.
  • Collaborate with other team members to identify and resolve potential construction issues, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • 2 years of experience in a construction-related field, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct other team members.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex construction issues.
