Empire Life is looking to hire a Distribution Services Coordinator to join our Retail Operations team.

The ideal candidate will provide support to our distribution partners by ensuring partner contracting and/or compensation records are kept up-to-date. They will be guided by procedural constraints and work under the supervision of the Supervisor, Distribution Services.

Main Responsibilities

  • Act as a key point of contact with distribution partners;
  • Provide prompt and courteous resolution of enquiries from distribution partners and customers through verbal and/or written communication;
  • Apply critical thinking to screen contracts and related documents to meet established service levels;
  • Enter and maintain data into multiple administration systems; ensure database is updated and validated with correct information and produce data reports;
  • Provide support to multiple teams to provide business requirements for and test scenarios for projects, product launches and system maintenance releases.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Work experience in the financial services industry or the insurance industry;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, internet and database applications;
  • Knowledge of distribution channels would be an asset;
  • Bilingualism would be an asset.
