Data Scientist Role for AI Vision Expert

We are ECF Data, LLC, a dynamic software startup with offices in multiple locations. We are looking for a skilled Data Scientist to join our team and help us push the boundaries of Visual Customer Experience.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record with NLP, Computer Vision, and statistic modeling algorithms. They should be able to demonstrate the pros and cons of existing commercial off-the-shelf solutions and build custom solutions using the latest machine learning and AI technologies.

As a data scientist, you will be instrumental in defining the vision and building customer-critical features in the product. You will develop real-time video analysis applications using the latest AI technologies, conduct research, test hypotheses, and showcase MVPs on an ongoing basis.

The interview process will consist of three stages:

  • Video pre-screening: A self-guided video submission using our platform.
  • Technical interview with the team: A hands-on technical pre-screening where you will be required to solve a problem within a 1-hour time window. You will receive help and specific instructions.
Responsibilities
  • Analyze raw data: Assess its quality, cleanse it, and structure it for downstream processing.
  • Design accurate and scalable prediction algorithms.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to bring analytical prototypes to production.
  • Generate actionable insights for business improvements.
  • Work closely with Product Owners and CTO.
  • Design and test NLP, computer vision algorithms, and predictive models.
  • Build scalable architecture to support multiple platforms simultaneously.
  • Brainstorm new product ideas and bring them to life.
  • Work with the design team to create appealing products.
  • Understand customer pain points and develop strategies for client engagement in collaboration with the sales team.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in building production-ready applications with Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and Flask.
  • Hands-on experience with Tableau.
  • Mastery of machine learning models and version controlling, MLOps.
  • Experience working with MongoDB, MySQL is a must.
  • Experience with CI/CD stacks such as CloudBuild, Jenkins, and CircleCI.
  • Expertise in building State-of-the-Art Models Inference-based applications.
  • Familiarity with Big Data frameworks and visualization tools (Cassandra, Hadoop, Spark, Tableau).
  • Nice to have: Experience working with real-time video streaming applications and Snowflake.

Estimated salary range for this position in the US is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
