Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Bear Creek Liquor Center Ltd. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, including sales, inventory, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are adequately trained to perform their tasks.
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
- Order merchandise and authorize the return of items as needed.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that products are available to meet customer demand.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Working Conditions:
- 35 hours per week.
- Permanent position.
- English language required.
