Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dino's Pizza Summerside. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the needs of our customers and staff.
- Requisition Food and Supplies: Order and manage the inventory of food and kitchen supplies to ensure we have the necessary resources to deliver high-quality meals.
- Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and train a team of food service staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service and prepare high-quality meals.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our high standards of quality and safety.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform our business decisions.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on key performance indicators.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
- Supervision: 3-4 people.
- Accessibility: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
- Newcomers and Refugees: Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
- Youth: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth.
- Veterans: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans.
- Indigenous People: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
- Mature Workers: Provides staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
- Visible Minorities: Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
