Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Watchmaking Craftsman to join our team at Swift Quartz Watch and Jewelry Repair. This is a permanent, 32-hour per week position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean parts using special cleaning solutions and equipment
  • Fabricate or fit parts to make watches and clocks
  • Instruct apprentices in watchmaking techniques
  • Perform repairs and adjustments on watches and clocks
  • Test, adjust and regulate timepiece movements
  • Appraise gemstones and diamonds to identify rare specimens and detect peculiarity affecting stone values
  • Examine, cut, shape and polish diamonds and precious gems
  • Fabricate and repair metal jewellery
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Attention to detail required
  • English language proficiency
  • Ability to work 32 hours per week
Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000, based on industry standards and location factors.
