Cashier Job Description

Cobs Bread is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and cash wrap area
  • Restock shelves and merchandise as needed
  • Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting productivity and sales goals
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous retail or customer service experience an asset
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
