Job Title: Civil Engineering Technician

Pyritest inc. is seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Technician to join our team. As a Civil Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, and implementation of civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
  • Conduct site visits to inspect and monitor construction progress.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technical staff to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Perform soil analysis and other technical tasks as required.
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge and skills to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Civil Engineering Experience:

Assessor and Appraiser Specialization:

Residential buildings and property, Commercial and industrial buildings and property.

Area of Specialization:

Asbestos abatement and removal.

Transportation/Travel Information:

Valid driver's license.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

Handling heavy loads, Attention to detail, Ability to distinguish between colours, Combination of sitting, standing, walking.

Own Tools/Equipment:

Steel-toed safety boots.

Personal Suitability:
