Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced System Testing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our testing group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our systems.

Responsibilities
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in system testing methodology and experience in executing system and user acceptance tests. Key responsibilities include:

• Participating in business requirements walkthroughs and analyzing business requirements documentation, including Use Cases and non-functional requirements;
• Contributing to the testing strategy and creating systems test plans and test suites, including test cases;
• Analyzing test data requirements and creating appropriate test data to support the test strategy;
• Executing system and user acceptance tests, adhering to HSC Test Methodology;
• Creating and executing automated test scripts where possible, using automated testing tools;
• Verifying actual results meet expected results and examining test databases using SQL;
• Documenting and monitoring resolution of system variances using an automated problem management system;
• Providing recommendations to the Project Manager regarding the acceptance or rejection of changed system components;
• Reporting on status, progress, and key issue/concerns as directed by the Project Lead or Sr. Project Manager;
• Transferring skills and knowledge to selected OPS staff.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:

• 5 years of experience in Sprint development;
• Excellent knowledge of system testing methodology and ability to execute system and user acceptance tests;
• Ability to understand and analyze business requirements and systems response documents;
• Experience writing well-structured, easy-to-maintain, and easily understood test plans and test cases;
• Knowledge of Agile Methodology, with 5 years of experience in Sprint development;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal and negotiation skills;
• Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and analytical work;
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills;
• Experience analyzing business requirements documentation and creating test data to support the test strategy;
• Familiarity with automated testing scripts and tools, such as Selenium or equivalent;
• Must-have qualifications include excellent knowledge of system testing methodology, experience in Sprint development, and proficiency in creating test data to support the test strategy.
