Job Title: Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at AlidaClean. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and visitors.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Facilities Support: Provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls and ceilings.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Support for Persons with Disabilities: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster.
  • Support for Youths: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
  • Support for Veterans: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Support for Mature Workers: Provides staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Applies hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities.

Working Conditions: Permanent position, 30 to 40 hours per week, English language, flexible schedule.
