Sales Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Sales Director to lead our team in Edmonton. The ideal candidate will identify market opportunities, build relationships with key sales influencers, and lead a team to deliver consistent sales results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take charge of the entire sales journey, spotting opportunities and empowering your team to deliver results.
  • Develop and maintain strong, trust-filled relationships that align with our organization's values and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Motivate and lead a team of Sales professionals, establish strategic objectives, targets, and KPIs, provide coaching and development plans.
  • Understand the metrics that support the sales process, and identify opportunities based upon the information.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, influencers, and external partners to boost our company's presence and reach new heights.

Requirements:

  • A deep understanding of direct sales in Western Canada, with strong experience in leading event and door-to-door teams (telecommunications experience preferred).
  • An understanding of fiber-optic internet technology, as well as technology trends that help businesses connect and evolve.
  • A proven history driving growth and improving results – you know how to identify strengths, and opportunities, and measure success.
  • A knowledge of rural and sub-urban communities: how to meet their connectivity needs, and how to explain the value of fiber internet.
  • An appreciation that measuring results is a key pillar in managing sales. You are comfortable looking for insights in metrics, finding opportunities, and sharing your findings with leadership and the team.
  • An open and honest approach to salesmanship.
