Job Description
The Aerospace & Defense Intern will interface with various teams, including Engineering, Supply Chain, Sourcing, GCBU, and Production, for collecting information to assist the Engineering team in reducing the cost of current production aerospace products.
This role involves organizing information, executing plans under guidance, reviewing component parameters, testing products for verification, and creating documentation to substantiate the choice of new components.
Additionally, this role works closely with the Global Customer Business Unit on pricing cycles and related amendments, as well as with Corporate Supply Chain and sites on quarterly claims and reconciliation processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong analytical, report writing, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Basic knowledge of engineering principles and manufacturing processes
