Job Title: Forklift Operator

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at 12082799 Canada Inc. as a key member of our warehouse operations.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This includes making labels, wrapping goods, packing and unpacking goods, sorting, crating, and stacking goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a forklift to move materials and products around the warehouse
  • Make labels and attach them to goods
  • Wrap goods for shipping or storage
  • Pack and unpack goods as needed
  • Sort, crate, and stack goods in a safe and efficient manner
  • Participate in counterbalanced forklift training and obtain Forklift Operator Certification
  • Operate a strapping machine and light trucks as needed
  • Assist with loading and unloading goods from vehicles
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a warehouse or related environment
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Excellent oral communication skills and a positive attitude
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a warehouse environment with a variety of equipment and machinery. The work will be physically demanding and require the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
