About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Specialist to join our team at Arron Hardwoods Flooring. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality flooring installations for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered, ensuring accurate and precise measurements.
  • Flooring Installation: Measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings, including hardwood floors, to meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
  • Pre-Installation Testing: Conduct moisture, pH, temperature and other tests prior to flooring installations to ensure a successful outcome.
  • Removal and Cleanup: Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants, leaving the surface clean and ready for new flooring.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Setting: Work in various locations, including residential and commercial settings.
  • Physical Demands: Bending, crouching, kneeling, and other physical activities required for flooring installation.
Personal Qualities and Suitability
  • Client Focus: Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction with every installation.
  • Judgement and Organisation: Make sound judgements and demonstrate strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Work Term and Language: This is a permanent position, and the primary language of work is English.
