Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team at Trane Technologies. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our commercial customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up HVAC systems in commercial environments.
  • Utilize knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts to perform tasks efficiently.
  • Coordinate with team leaders and customers to understand requirements and synchronize on-site work.
  • Represent the company as the primary customer contact and ensure customer satisfaction by identifying, diagnosing, and repairing equipment and systems.
  • Use cutting-edge software and technology to diagnose and repair units, following blueprints or engineering specifications.
  • Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekends as the business requires, including occasional overnight stays.
  • Enforce safety standards and maintain security and accountability of company assets.

Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent required, and typically 5+ years of experience in HVAC.
  • Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and working proficiency with handheld computers.
  • A valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations.
  • Ability to safely and legally operate a vehicle using a seatbelt.
  • Ability to wear helmets, safety goggles, fall protection harness, and safety boots to safely perform job duties.
  • Ability to twist the trunk of your body 90 degrees in each direction, squat, and reach overhead.
  • Ability to stand on concrete surfaces for extended periods, routinely up to 4 hours.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 10 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 40 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move more than 40 lbs.
