Job Summary

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and executing daily accounting procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the collection of financial information for monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and prepare accurate and timely reports.
  • Ensure that all transactional processing is performed in accordance with internal controls and established accounting standards.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, utilize financial systems, and prepare financial reports.
  • Communicate with various departments/sites to obtain support for accounting transactions.
  • Perform monthly revenue recognition in accordance with predetermined margins.
  • Perform monthly intercompany transaction recording.
  • Perform transaction analysis to calculate journal entry amounts.
  • Responsible for balancing subsidiary ledgers.
  • Record monthly journal entries.
  • Collect supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Participate in the preparation of additional account analyses and reports for internal audits, external audits, and ad hoc requests.
  • Participate in the preparation of internal and external company financial statements.
  • Understand and follow internal control policies.
Requirements
  • CPA candidate.
  • English-speaking environment.
  • Completed accounting cycle.
