Job SummaryWe're seeking a talented Gameplay Engineer to join our production team and contribute to the development of our platform. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing game systems, crafting high-quality code, and collaborating with our art and resource departments to ensure seamless game development.
Key Responsibilities- Game System Design and Development: Utilize Unity3D to design and develop game systems, including artificial intelligence, physics, graphics, and sound.
- Code Creation and Scripting: Craft well-structured code in C# to cater to diverse game systems, ensuring seamless integration and operational functionality.
- Collaboration and Progress Coordination: Facilitate effective collaboration with our art, resource, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth game development and regular progress.
- Performance Optimization: Take ownership of optimizing game performance to provide players with a polished and responsive experience.
- C# Experience: Proven experience with C# programming language.
- Mobile Gaming and YouTube Culture: Interest in mobile gaming and YouTube culture.
- Hybrid Schedule: Willingness to work on a hybrid schedule with an in-office component in Victoria, BC.
