Job Title: Machinist

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at Randstad Canada. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for operating metal additive manufacturing machines with precision and care, performing post-processing operations, and ensuring that printer components are accurately routed through all finishing operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate metal additive manufacturing machines with precision and care.
  • Perform a variety of post-processing operations, including powder removal, band sawing, heat treating, and manual and CNC machining operations.
  • Ensure that printer components are accurately routed through all finishing operations.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive internal process documentation.
  • Adhere to internal manufacturing standards to ensure that only the highest quality components are produced and delivered from the department.
Qualifications:
  • A college diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology, CNC Machinist Technician.
  • Strong self-starter qualities with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Passion for rapid prototyping and 3D printing, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment with tight deadlines, including the ability to work weekends and afternoon shifts as needed.
  • Experience in metal additive manufacturing is an asset, though not required.
