Job Title: Bookkeeper

At RF ACCOUNTING AND TAX SERVICES, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage fixed assets and depreciation, maintaining up-to-date records.
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
  • Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Reconcile accounts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Permanent employment with 35 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
