Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Director (On Call) to join our team at Radio Canada International. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for organizing and contributing to the preparation, production, and post-production of videos for television and other media platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare required materials and assist in script presentation
  • Gather information required to produce the show and ensure necessary revisions are made to lineups
  • Inform all affected personnel of any changes and compile and proofread information for credit lists and keys
  • Request facilities and technical, design, and post-production resources, and ensure coordination of these bookings during the development and modification of the production schedule
Requirements
  • College diploma in radio and television arts or equivalent
  • Three (3) or more years' relevant experience in television production, IT, and broadcasting technologies
  • Superior French-language skills (spoken and written); working knowledge of spoken and written English is an asset
  • Good knowledge of newsroom operations
  • Proven knowledge of iNEWS, the Google suite, and MediaCentral editing software
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to research and gather information from a variety of sources
  • Good technical and production skills
  • Excellent prioritizing and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated attention to accuracy under time constraint
  • Solid organizational skills
  • Openness to new work methods
Work Schedule

This is an on-call position for replacement coverage, primarily Monday to Friday, from 4:45 PM to 8:45 PM. Candidates may be asked to work different shifts based on operational needs.
