About the Role:
Midas is seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality services to our customers, including inspection, diagnosis, and repair of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform engine repair, drivetrain, and electrical system diagnostics and repair
- Complete reports to record problems and work performed
- Ensure proper procedures are being followed by other mechanics in the shop
- Perform alignments, steering and suspension diagnostic and repair, brake system diagnostic and repair, fuel and emission system diagnostics and repair, ignition and electrical system diagnostic and repair, automatic/manual transmission diagnostic and repair, and heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system diagnostic and repair
- Road test motor vehicles (with valid class 5 license required)
Credentials and Qualifications:
- Red Seal - Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
- MPI Safety Certificate
- Provincial Certificate of Qualification
- Valid driver's license
- Own tools
