The Store Experience
The UNIQLO Summer Retail Internship program offers highly motivated and talented individuals the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a UNIQLO storefront. In this paid program, you will work with key members of the UNIQLO team to learn the business fundamentals of a global apparel retailer and gain experience in the day-to-day operations of the store, including customer service, sales floor tasks, leadership, staff development, and business analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the management of store operations, including customer service, sales, and inventory management
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and improve customer engagement
- Collaborate with the store team to achieve sales targets and improve store performance
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
- Contribute to the development of business plans and strategies to drive growth and improvement
Requirements
- Enrolled at an accredited university for an undergraduate or graduate degree
- Ability to work a minimum of 24 hours per week
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets the needs of the business/store, including evenings and weekends
- Passion for UNIQLO and its products
- Previous retail, hospitality, or sales experience preferred
- Strong leadership experience and work ethic, self-starter and independent
- Clear aspiration to become a future business leader in the retail industry
- Effective communication skills using company platforms
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize
