Mainstreet Landscaper Job Description

About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Landscaper to join our team at Mainstreet. As a Landscaper, you will be responsible for maintaining the outdoor spaces of our properties, ensuring they are clean, safe, and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general lawn care, including planting, hedging, pruning, and weeding of flower beds.
  • Lay sod, mow, trim, and fertilize grass.
  • Plant, trim, and fertilize plants and trees.
  • Prune bushes and shrubs.
  • Water grass, flowerbeds, and trees as needed.
  • Perform spring and fall clean-up.
  • Remove garbage and debris from sites and vacant suites.
  • Clear snow from steps, sidewalks, parking lots, and entrances.
  • Apply salt to icy areas to ensure safety.
  • Remove furniture and left items from suites when required.
  • Paint parking lot lines and clean up gravel.
  • Maintain equipment and tools.
  • Clean up storage rooms as needed.

Requirements

  • Able to work outside in all weather conditions.
  • Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Able to use various tools, including snow blowers and landscaping equipment.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Must successfully complete a security clearance.
  • Able to communicate effectively and follow direction.
  • Able to work independently and manage time effectively.
