About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Wok Box. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff

Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.

Inventory Management

Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Quality Control

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Scheduling and Planning

Establish work schedules, and ensure that all staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience

Experience in a food service environment is an asset, and a permanent position is available.

Language

Fluency in English is required, and the ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers is essential.

Work Schedule

A 30-hour work week is available, and flexibility is required to meet the needs of the business.
