Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Affairs Manager to join our team at the Retirement Homes Regulatory Authority. The successful candidate will work closely with our management team to develop and implement effective corporate affairs strategies that advance our regulatory work, build public awareness, and manage issues.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in communications, public relations, or a related field, and 5-7 years of experience in supporting communications and public affairs programs. They will be proficient in social media management, website management, and public affairs/communications principles and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Corporate Affairs Strategies
  • Manage Media Relations and Issues
  • Build and Maintain Strong Stakeholder Relationships
  • Provide Support to Senior Leadership

The successful candidate will also have excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess strong organizational and time management skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public or Government Relations, Journalism or related field
  • 5-7 years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience
  • Strong demonstrated media relations and issues management experience
  • Experience advising C-suite leadership
  • Proficient knowledge and understanding of social media management, website management, and public affairs/communications principles and best practices
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $80,000, commensurate with skills and experience. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a retirement savings plan.
