Retail Sales Manager

R Wireless is seeking a highly motivated Retail Sales Manager to lead our store operations and drive sales growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing daily store activities, supervising staff, and analyzing market trends to inform sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and control daily store operations, ensuring seamless execution of sales and customer service initiatives.
- Evaluate daily store performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Plan and organize daily store activities, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources effectively.
- Manage a team of sales staff, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
- Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and competitor activity.
- Determine merchandise and services to be sold, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market opportunities.
- Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale, maintaining high-quality standards.
- Supervise a team of 3-4 sales staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
- Ensure a safe and secure work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Provide physical and visual accessibility accommodations to support customers with disabilities.
- Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers, refugees, and other diverse groups.
- Offer on-the-job training and mentorship to support youth employment and development.
- Support Veterans through mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities.
- Participate in initiatives that support Indigenous people, visible minorities, and mature workers.
- 1-2 years of retail sales management experience.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop sales strategies.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
