We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team in Pembroke, ON.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist supervising physiotherapists in developing and implementing treatment plans for residents in long-term care communities.
  • Perform various treatments as prescribed, including gait training, balance exercises, transfer training, and modalities.
  • Deliver dynamic and safe exercise classes for groups of residents.
  • Ensure resident gym and treatment areas are safe and tidy.
  • Communicate effectively with physiotherapists regarding resident status and treatment interventions.
  • Record daily treatments using Seniors Wellness' proprietary system.
Requirements:
  • PTA/OTA diploma or degree in Kinesiology.
  • Previous experience in an LTC setting an asset.
  • Standard First Aid & CPR Certification.
  • Covid Vaccination Certificate.
