Job Summary

We're looking for three part-time auxiliary nurses to join our team. As an auxiliary nurse, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents. Your responsibilities will include administering medication, updating resident files, responding to emergencies, and working closely with our health services manager and other departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medication safely and in accordance with established protocols
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of resident care plans
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care and services
  • Promote proactive care and advocate for the needs of our residents
  • Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations
Requirements
  • Professional studies diploma (DEP) in healthcare assistance or nursing
  • PDSB training
  • Current CPR/AED training certification
  • Membership in the OIIAQ
