About the Role

As a Platform & Cloud Native Engineer at Activision Blizzard's Demonware, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure that supports millions of players worldwide.

We are looking for an experienced engineer to join our team, which is mostly based in Vancouver. If you're excited about working with technologies for low-latency, large-scale systems in a collaborative environment, then we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Help develop best practices and tooling for Azure & Kubernetes usage across the organization
  • Implement Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) at scale
  • Deploy, maintain and build Kubernetes controllers
  • Execute key platform and infrastructure projects involving multiple teams
  • Troubleshoot and debug, often in collaboration with other teams
Requirements
  • 6 + years practical Kubernetes experience, preferably in high-volume and/or critical production service environments
  • Experience with Cluster API or other cluster management frameworks
  • Experience with Kubernetes Operator pattern
  • Experience with development in Golang
  • Proven experience in architecting and provisioning services using public cloud services, preferably Azure, but also GCP or AWS
What We Offer
  • A competitive base pay range of $105,455.00 - $222,870.00 CAD
  • In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation
