About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plumber Assistant to join our team at AnyDay Plumbing & Renos. As a key member of our plumbing team, you will be responsible for assisting our plumbers with various tasks, including loading and transporting construction materials, mixing and pouring materials such as concrete and asphalt, and performing other duties as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading Materials: Assist plumbers with loading and unloading construction materials, such as pipes, fittings, and tools.
  • Transportation and Delivery: Transport materials to and from job sites, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
  • Material Preparation: Assist with mixing and pouring materials such as concrete and asphalt, as required.
  • General Maintenance: Perform general maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and organizing tools and equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with physical demands including manual dexterity, repetitive tasks, and overtime required.
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly.
Work Environment

As a Plumber Assistant, you will work outdoors, in confined spaces, and in dusty environments. You will also be required to work in cold/refrigerated conditions and be willing to relocate to various locations.
