Keewaytinook Okimakanak is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide clinical assessment and intervention services to children from birth to age 18, working under the supervision of the Jordan's Principle Coordinator and KO Health Director.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of speech and language functions
  • Develop and deliver targeted interventions to address identified needs
  • Administer diagnostic tests and interpret results
  • Provide recommendations for individualized speech and language programs
  • Counsel and educate parents/legal guardians, educators on pertinent speech and language topics

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology, registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario, and experience working with First Nation communities. They should also have strong leadership abilities, effective decision-making skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
