Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Child Psychologist to join our team at the Manitoba Adolescent Treatment Centre (MATC). The successful candidate will provide clinical services to youth involved in the criminal justice system, including assessment and treatment, as well as consultation and supervision to students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct formal risk assessments and provide treatment services to youth in a custodial setting and in the community.
  • Provide psychological assessment and treatment for children and youth with a range of mental health and emotional issues.
  • Consult with services area regarding youth at risk for criminal justice involvement.
  • Supervise students and staff as needed.
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from a CPA or APA-accredited program.
  • Successful completion of a CPA or APA-accredited internship/residency in Clinical Psychology.
  • Registration or eligibility for registration as a C. Psych. by the Psychological Association of Manitoba.
  • Excellent interpersonal and inter-professional teamwork skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
