Job Title: Golf Course Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Golf Course Superintendent to join our team at Westfield Country Club Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall maintenance and upkeep of our golf course, ensuring it remains in excellent condition for our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of golf course maintenance, including landscaping, irrigation, and turf care.
  • Direct and supervise a team of grounds staff to ensure the efficient and effective maintenance of the course.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and budgets to ensure the course remains in top condition.
  • Monitor and control pest and disease management, including the application of fertilizers, fungicides, and other chemicals.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the course is maintained to the highest standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work in a variety of weather conditions.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work outdoors in a fast-paced environment, with regular exposure to the elements.

The golf course is a dynamic and challenging work environment, requiring a high level of physical fitness and stamina.
