Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team at Brock Group. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of complex construction projects from inception to completion.

Salary

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out.
  • Obtain all necessary permits and licenses.
  • Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Requisition supplies and materials to complete construction projects.
  • Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction site.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A ticketed Journeyman with 10+ years of experience as a technical expert in their field.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and communication skills to solve complex problems.
  • Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective safety operations for the protecting of people, data, property, and institutions.
  • Strong computer skills.

This role requires a high level of expertise in a number of areas including:

  • Administration and Management: Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Building and Construction: Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction, including dehumidification, heating, ventilation, rigging, 'Right to Know' laws, environmental regulations, waste handling, and other related information.
