As a key member of our Division of Orthopaedic Surgery, you will be responsible for providing exceptional clinical care to children with spinal deformities, participating in emergency Orthopaedic call schedules, and contributing to the Division's scholarly productivity.
The ideal candidate will be a recently qualified fellowship-trained surgeon with outstanding potential or an established surgeon with an international reputation. You will be expected to provide effective and collaborative leadership at the hospital, provincial, national, and international levels. A strong academic background and a commitment to research, education, or global health are highly valued.
The successful candidate will be eligible for appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto and certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, in the range of $300,000 - $500,000 per year, plus on-call responsibilities and an equal distribution of billing overages.

The Division of Orthopaedic Surgery is comprised of eight full-time and two part-time academic surgeons, six paediatric orthopaedic fellows, and orthopaedic residents on rotation. We are well-supported by advance practice physiotherapists, nurse practitioners, orthopaedic technologists, and administrative staff.
